Shikhardeep Multipurpose Co-operative Ltd. was established under the cooperative act 2048 B.S.  and registered with Division Sahakari Karyalaya, Bhaktapur and its registration no is 279/064/065 Shikhardeep Multipurpose cooperative previously known as Shikhar Deep Saving & Credit Ltd. is the result of merger between two saving and credit cooperative i.e. Shikhar Saving & Credit Cooperative Ltd. located at Thimi, Bhaktapur, and Gurkha Deep saving and Credit Cooperative Ltd. located at Bagbazar, Kathmandu. Both are established in the year 2066 Magh 28 and 2065 Mangsir 14 respectively. The merger between these two was completed in 2069 Falgun 16 and then after it was upgraded to Shikhar Deep Multi Purpose Cooperative Ltd. in 2072 Ashad 27 to spread its services from saving and credit to the business sector.

This esteem cooperative has elected Mr.  Kedar Nath Sharma as the chairman and a head member on the Board of Directors. He is the man with the vision to excel this cooperative to the position as one of the successful cooperative in Nepal. He along with BOD members makes the decision on shareholders behalf as a fiduciary and look out for the financial well-being of the company. Also, they help the cooperative to set broad goals, support executives in their duties, while also ensuring the company has adequate resources at its disposal and that the resources are well managed.

Shikhar Deep Multi Purpose Cooperative Ltd. has approval on the workplace are all over Kathmandu valley granted by Division Sahakari Karyalaya. Currently, Shikhar Deep Multi Purpose Cooperative Ltd. comprises of the head office located in kausaltar-15, Bhaktapur, Nepal with five customer service counter.

(Forty-six thousand) satisfying customers all over Kathmandu valley. Also with the trading department, head office, and five branches the total number of employee in Shikhardeep multi purpose cooperative Ltd is around two hundred.
